A spirit-filled vocalist who began singing at an early age at Calvary temple, her father’s church in Savannah, Georgia. Early accomplishments: competing in the national televised Star Search competition, leading “He Washed My Sins Away” on the Savannah State Wesleyan Choir’s album, and “Give it To Me” on the “I’m Free” album by the Georgia Mass Choir. S.T.A.N.D’s 2004 power packed CD “The Rock” which she leads or shares the leads on three of the songs. She has toured many of the eastern states as well as the Bahamas.

Nichol has performed at various local churches and special events including “Keepers of the Dream,” “Black Nativity,” Shoreline Community College’s annual “Soulful Sounds of Christmas,” and “Duke Ellington Sacred Music Concert,” with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra. She was a guest soloist at the 2004 Reinhard Bonnkke America Crusade in the Everett Civic Center, and guest soloist at the 2004 luncheon for Seattle City Pastors and Ann Graham-Lotz. 

She completed several solo CD’s, “Christmas with Veneé” an easy listening contemporary gospel/jazz CD. “Original Love” a heart felt CD that will minister to your inner-soul. “Only By The Spirit,” a live praise & worship experience recorded at The City Church; take its listeners into the heavenlies! “Perfect Gift”, another Christmas CD with a contemporary gospel/Jazz sound.  .“Simple Love Song”, featuring some beautiful original love songs to the Lord!
